Ingredients (for a 4 portion crumble)
- 1 large Bramley apple, peeled and sliced
- 4 handfuls of blackberries
- 150g plain flour
- 87g golden caster sugar
- 100g unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons of golden caster sugar
Add the sliced apple, blackberries and the 3 tablespoons of golden caster sugar to the bottom of a small baking dish. In a separate mixing bowl, rub together the plain flour, 87g caster sugar and the butter so it forms a crumble mixture resembling bread crumbs. Cover the blackberries and apple with all of the breadcrumbs and bake in a fan oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade. Serve with home-made custard.
