Hayley Frances Nutrition Clinic

Being a Nutritionist in Somerset

My home-based clinic is set at the foot of ham hill with beautiful views either side.  It is an amazing place to run a business and I feel very lucky to do what I love, in a place that I love.  We have access to outstanding countryside and nature, the Jurassic coast on our doorstep and it’s a fantastic location to reach clients in Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.  I am approximately 10 minutes from Yeovil, 30 minutes from Taunton and 25 minutes from Sherborne, so ideally situated for clients in these locations and all the villages in between. My nutrition clinic is in a private study at the entrance to the house, however, if the weather is fine then there is plenty of privacy outside in the garden and I often run sessions in front of the herb beds – with lots of fresh coffee of course!   I live with my husband Billy, our daughter Lexi and our little dog Pup and, as you can probably tell, I’m pretty passionate about our home and village life in Stoke Sub Hamdon.  Being a South Somerset nutritionist is like a dream come true for me.

The approach I take with my clients is holistic, which means that we often explore all the factors in life that contribute to a healthy person, not just diet. One of these factors is our home and environment, and I hope that my clinic demonstrates the positive impact that a healthy home, with lots of fresh air and the smell of home cooked food running through it, can have on a person.  I want my nutrition, naturopathy and cooking sessions to be truly enjoyable for my clients.  I want them to feel relaxed and comfortable but also reassured that they are in a professional space that reflects how seriously I take my work.   Let’s be honest, private consultancy is never ‘cheap’ and so I want my clients to get real value out of working with me, and true value reaches far beyond a menu plan.
